01 May Show Flats Now Open!
Over the past couple of weeks, the Prime team have been busy preparing show flats for our three properties under construction in Swansea, Portsmouth and Coventry, and they are now open and welcoming plenty of visitors!
Situated either in the scheme itself or in a retail unit close by, the show flats showcase the best of what a Prime Student Living property has to offer, including a typical bedroom and en-suite bathroom as well as a communal living room and kitchen.
Having a show flat is a vital part of the mobilisation process for schemes under construction and is one of the major ways to introduce potential residents to a scheme that is not yet completed. It allows potential residents and their parents to really get a feel for the quality of fixtures and fittings and typical room layouts before they go onto book with us.
Ultimately having this provides peace of mind that we will be delivering a fantastic home for them. If a show flat has not yet been considered as part of the construction programme, Prime Student Living recommend it should be included within the scope of works by the contractor. A show flat also enables the main contractor to have a point of reference for subcontractors to facilitate the consistent quality of fit & finish of the completed scheme.
So far the show flats have been a great success as our team have welcomed visitors across the three sites- the bookings have been rolling in!
The three properties – Stanhope House in Portsmouth, Coppergate in Swansea and Trinity View in Coventry- will open their doors ready for the 2019/20 academic year.
