Prime Student Living were appointed by Crosslane Student Developments to provide advisory and mobilisation services for their first Sheffield development.

Entering into a competitive market, with a site slightly further away from the universities than the competition presented a challenge. With Prime Student Living’s recommendations on room mix, rent pricing, specification and facilities we were able to achieve 100% occupancy upon practical completion of the building with a higher level of income than targeted, allowing our client to sell their asset at a value exceeding their expectations.

The concept.

Following an extensive market appraisal, the concept for Brass Founders was to go above and beyond typical student accommodation in the city.

Prime Student Living identified the need to attract students away from more conveniently located competitor schemes, so setting a high standard of the product was vital. We had significant input into the building layout and design process to create an environment with high quality interiors specifically created to encourage community living and collaborative learning, but which also valued the individuals personal space.
